Workshop Title: Closing the Gender Wage Gap

This workshop will focus on gender wage gap and or pay equity. Participants will be able to understand the history of wage gaps and the impact it has on families, community, and country. The workshop will also focus on closing the pay gap which can mean the difference between living above or below the poverty line. Pay inequality must be understood by a broad base to help increase awareness. The workshop will also explore ways others can become allies to help reduce pay inequality by helping with advocacy efforts and help mobilize permanent change.
